The Home Office has recently launched its third EU Settlement Status pilot.

The one currently in function opened on the 29th of November and is aimed to healthcare professionals. This is in preparation for the full Scheme, that will open in March 2019.

  • you belong to one of the groups (*) taking part in a pilot of the scheme;
  • use the Home Office’s ‘EU Exit: ID Document Check’ app to confirm your identity.

(*) From the 29 of November 2018 you can apply to the pilot if you are employed by or work at an organisation in the health or social care sector in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales.

The applications must be made before the 22nd of December 2018 if you wish to obtain the status under the scheme during the pilot phase. Alternatively, you will be able to apply from the 30th of March 2019, when the Scheme will fully open.
